About Us

Strumlock was founded for musicians, by musicians. 

It all started when one of our company founders wanted to travel the U.S. by train and play everywhere he could along the way. As he started planning his trip, he immediately thought "where will I keep my guitar on the train?" "If I put it in the luggage rack, how do I keep it from walking away at every stop?". 

Every musician has felt this same sense of anxiety when leaving their instruments unattended. This includes keeping them in the car which poses it's own unique challenges. Putting an instrument in the trunk exposes it to extreme heat and cold, while leaving it inside the car leaves it open to becoming the victim of "smash and grab" theft.

Strumlock utilizes a unique, patent pending (#16/118,130) design to accommodate the non-uniform shape of musical instruments like acoustic guitars. It was invented to greatly reduce the risk of traveling with your instrument, regardless of where your music takes you and how you choose to get there.
